Two new open positions for PhD students

During the spring of 2025 the Competence Center for Continuous Digitalization, CoDig, is recruiting a number of PhD students within these four different focus areas in the center:

Data-driven product development, evolution and management (Malmö University)

The PhD student will contribute to advancing the state of the art in data-driven product development, evolution, and management in the context of software-intensive embedded systems. The research focuses on (i) identifying key enablers for effective adoption and use of data-driven approaches; (ii) developing processes, techniques, and tools for continuous development, delivery, and improvement of software, data, and AI components; (iii) integrating product management and R&D to maximize the effectiveness of R&D efforts; and (iv) applying the findings in industrial case studies.

Continuous Everything (Malmö University)

The PhD student will contribute to advancing the state of the art in continuous development and integration of software, data, and AI in large-scale embedded systems. The research focuses on (i) developing processes, techniques, and tools for continuous development, delivery, and improvement of software, data, and AI components; (ii) adjusting work practices to accelerate the adoption of DevOps, DataOps, and MLOps; (iii) establishing feedback loops and mechanisms for rapid and continuous development/deployment and training/re-training of components; and (iv) applying the findings in industrial case studies.
